Mechanical Calibration Lab
SITARC has cutting-edge laboratories equipped with advanced Universal Length Measuring Machines, Slip Gauge Calibrators, Dead Weight Pressure Gauge Testers, Hydraulic pressure Testers and more. Our experts deliver robust mechanical calibration services for measuring and testing equipment to ensure that your instruments always perform according to expected specifications and standards.
At SITARC, mechanical calibration services are affordable and delivered at quick turnaround times. Calibration of electronic equipment used for measuring and testing purposes ensures the quality and reliability of your equipment and enhances its performance capabilities, which in turn, guarantees that your products and processes meet domestic and international regulations.
The pressure calibration process at SITARC involves the use of computerized pressure modules with capacities ranging from vacuum to 40,000 PSI to perform pressure calibration and record the readings. When calibrating an instrument, we use one of the pressure modules at SITARC based on the measurement range of the instrument. Before beginning calibration, we make sure to exercise the instrument to its full capacity three times.
During the pressure calibration process, we compare the instrument being calibrated to a standard with a known value or capacity. Most instruments undergo a 6-point pressure calibration, with inspections at every 20 percent of capacity. For higher accuracy pressure transducers or pressure gauge calibrations, we include 10 inspection points at every 10 percent of capacity.
We provide a Calibration Certificate with every pressure calibration, with the following information:
Instrument condition
NPL traceability
NABL accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025
Calibration results
Details of any repairs and adjustments made, if applicable
